‘CAUSE your music counts.

MUSIC PRODUCTION

WAY MORE THAN JUST RECORDING

Every artists music is a matter that is close to his or her heart. Recording music in a studio is most often a process in which final touches are being put to the song which will then be published for the world to hear. More specifically: A song is the most intimate fingerprint of an artist. Therefore, our work philosophy at Sawdust Recordings is to find out what makes your song special and which elements need to be added or reduced to carve out the identity of the song. In a mutual process, we aim to create a sound that is best at transporting the character of your song whilst maintaining a competitive and state of the art music production.

STUDIOS

STUDIO A

This big control room is the heart of Sawdust Recordings! It gives you a lot of space and professional gear. Best listening conditions combined with an inspiring and cosy atmosphere!

STUDIO B

A little smaller and more intimate. Studio B is the perfect place for songwriting as well as recording sessions. The second room allows us to work on the same project simultaneously. This means more efficiency to put your ideas into action.

LIVE ROOM

The 42 square meter live room offers enough space to record huge sounding drums, live session with multiple musicians or even a choir. Our mobile acoustic modules allow for an endless amount of possibilities and a creative and flexible workflow. We create the perfect acoustic environment for your recording.

KITCHEN And Hang OUt

In between recording sessions there is enough space to prepare a meal in our kitchen or lean back and relax in our chillout area.

ABOUT ME

Christoph Wieczorek

Ever since childhood I’ve been interested in music and the art of audio recording. After producing my first album at the age of 16, I constantly tried to improve my sound and find ways to get the best out of a song. I finally started working as a full-time audio engineer in 2008, when the first Sawdust Recording Studio was built. Today I look back on over 10 years of experience as a professional audio engineer, songwriter and producer. In 2017 we moved into a new studio which we built from scratch. Since then, I can pursue my passion without any constraints. Besides producing music, I’m mixing and designing sound for TV and cinema movie productions. I am also singer and guitar player of the german metal band ‘Annisokay‘. I gained a lot of valuable experience while being on tour in and outside of Europe. And what’s most important for me today: I can definitely say, that I love my job!
